Favorites Friday - Historical Novels - June 21, 2013
Today I'm traveling to the Historical Novel Society North American Conference, and in honor of that I've decided to list just a few of my favorite Historical authors. They may write Historical Mysteries, or Historical Romance, Time-Slips or simply straight Historical Fiction. But in whatever shape or form, they are fabulous.
Tasha Alexander - Her Lady Emily series is smart and entertaining, and the title character travels to some fascinating locations in the late Victorian era. The latest, Deat... Click Here To Read More >>
Reader's Questions - My Writing Process - June 19, 2013
I recently asked my followers on Facebook for any questions they would like me to answer, and several of them asked about my writing process.
They wondered whether certain times of the day work best for me. Yes and no. I should really do better at having a set schedule, but the truth is, I don’t have one. WIP Wednesday - Lady Darby Book 3 Setting - May 15, 2013
I've been hard at work writing Lady Darby Book 3, which won't release until July 2014, but I just couldn't resist sharing with you the setting of several critical scenes, including one set just after midnight. They occur in the ruins of Dryburgh Abbey in the Border region of England and Scotland. I was fortunate enough to visit there in the autumn of 2010 and snap some pictures.
And, yes, that is a cemetery in the foreground of this shot.
Midnight in a cemetery. &n... Click Here To Read More >>
