Behind the Scenes of A PRETTY DECEIT - Roman Ruins
October 1, 2020

In addition to the ruins of the Roman villa at Littlecote House, I also utilized a number of other Roman sites in Britain. The first was the remains of another Roman villa at Brading on the Isle of Wight. The site has been modernized and updated since 1919, but the pictures below still give you an idea of the place I described. The second I'd like to highlight are the remains of Burgh Castle in windswept Norfolk. Sharp-eyed readers might recognize that the remains of Burgh Castle were also mentioned in the first book in my Gothic Myths series, SECRETS IN THE MIST.
