MANor Candy Monday - Inveraray Castle
February 10, 2014

Today's MANor Candy is Inveraray Castle in Inveraray, Argyll, Scotland, on the shore of Loch Fyne. The castle is the seat of the Duke of Argyll, who has been the chief of the Clan Campbell since the 17th century. It has numerous interesting architectural features. It is believed to be haunted by a harpist who was hanged in 1644, and whose music can sometimes be heard throughout the halls by visitors. The castle was recently utilitzed in an episode of Downton Abbey
