Bouchercon
October 3, 2012
Tomorrow (Thursday) I leave for Bouchercon World Mystery Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. This will be my first time to attend Bouchercon, and only my second Writers' Conference. I'm excited and nervous all at once, and definitely looking forward to it. I will meet with both my editor and publicist for the first time, and interact with fellow authors, as well as mystery fans. I'm particularly eager to meet Julia Spencer-Fleming, one of my favorite authors, who so graciously read and provided a blurb for The Anatomist's Wife.
I'll be taking part in the New Authors Panel on Friday October 5th at 7:30am, and am looking forward to introducing my debut to the attendees there. I'll also be donating a basket of goodies, including a signed Advanced Reading Copy of The Anatomist's Wife, some Vera Bradley goods, and DeBrand Fine Chocolates, to the Silent Auction benefiting the Cuyahoga County Library, Cleveland Public Library, and Cleveland Police Museum. So if you'll be attending, please keep a look out for my basket, and bid generously. And please, stop me to say hi. I would love to meet you.
I'll be back Monday, with more news, and hopefully a bag of new goodies for you to win. Until then, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! :) |
