TAW Updates
September 24, 2012
It's been a while since I updated you on the status of things, and I have a lot of exciting news to share.
First of all, thank you to all of you who entered in The Anatomist's Wife Contest! I was pleased to announce the four winners on Friday - Jennifer R, Tara C, Kelly E, and Crystal J. For those of you who didn't win - stay tuned! I'll be announcing another chance to snag an Advanced Reading Copy of The Anatomist's Wife, as well as some other goodies, soon. You won't want to miss it.
I'll also be announcing the complete The Anatomist's Wife Blog Tour soon. So far there are sixteen stops scheduled, and I may be adding a few more. Join me at The Thrill Begins blog this Thursday (9/27) for my first guest post. I also have several book signings and appearances scheduled for November and December, and I can't wait to share those with you, too. Which reminds me - if you'd like to schedule me to make a guest appearance at your blog or event, or to speak at your book club, please contact me. I would be happy to join you.
It's now 43 days until the release of The Anatomist's Wife, and purchase links to many booksellers can be found on the Books page. I would greatly appreciate pre-orders, Amazon "likes", Facebook "likes", and being added to your Goodreads "to-read" shelf. Thank you to all of you who have shared my excitement for this book's release. I can't believe the day is almost finally here. I'm thrilled that in a few weeks all of you will get to read Lady Darby's first, of what will hopefully be many, stories.
On that note, Lady Darby Book 2 is slated for release in September 2013. I'm still waiting to hear the exact pub date, but I'm happy to say that the book does now have a title, thanks to the brilliance of Aurora in the Copy Department at Berkley. I will share it with all of you as soon as I'm given permission. Work has also begun on its cover design, and if it turns out anything like the cover for The Anatomist's Wife, it will be gorgeous.
October 4th-7th, I'll be in Cleveland, Ohio attending my first Bouchercon World Mystery Convention, so if you'll also be in attendance, please grab me and say "hi!" I'll be flying solo, and looking for friendly faces. :)
