Book Updates - February
February 6, 2012
So, I know it’s been forever since I posted a blog. Mostly because I’m up against a deadline for Lady Darby Book 2 – my first major deadline since landing my publishing contract. I’m trying not to freak out about it, because, let’s just face it, that’s not pretty. Not to mention that it doesn’t help me actually get the thing written or edited. If anything, it slows me down. So, I’ve been working hard to maintain my equilibrium and get the book finished. I’m really excited about the direction I took with this book, and I hope everyone loves it. But LD Book 2’s pub date is over sixteen months away, so let’s talk about Lady Darby Book 1 - The Anatomist’s Wife.
I’ve finally got a Release Date – November 6th, 2012, which just happens to also be Election Day. So you can vote and have the opportunity to swing by the bookstore to purchase my first novel all in the same day. More information will follow at a later date about book signings and any tour schedule. I’m certain I’ll be arranging a signing or two in Fort Wayne, my hometown, and there are several other places – my old haunts and where friends and family live – where I would like to schedule something. Let me know if you think I should come to your town.
I have a new headshot. This is the photo that will be appearing on The Anatomist’s Wife’s book jacket. I’ve uploaded to my Facebook and Twitter pages if you want to check it out.
The Anatomist’s Wife is also now showing up for preorder on Amazon. I was super excited to see this. Who wouldn’t? There’s not a cover or much information posted yet, but that will all soon follow. I’m hoping to find out what the cover looks like soon. But, of course, that doesn’t mean I can show all of you yet.
I think that’s all for now. I hope to get more blogs posted in March, after my deadline. In the meantime, sorry for the silence. I wish you all the best… |
